Cereus Rakeback

Cereus Poker Network Summary

The Cereus Poker Network comprises two of the top online poker sites in the world: Absolute Poker and UB Poker. Together the sites are the #6 ranked poker site/network in terms of traffic, according to pokerscout.com, and sponsor some of the biggest names in poker.

    * UB has a strong contingent of poker pros like Phil Hellmuth, Annie Duke, Joe Sebok, Brandon Cantu, Adam “Roothlus” Levy, Eric Baldwin, Liv Boeree, and Tiffany Michelle.
    * Absolute Poker sponsors a few upper tier pros as well, including Lacey Jones and Matt Vengrin.

The Networks sleek, easy to use software, along with a number of great promotions makes the Cereus Poker Network one of the most attractive for online poker players. Another major factor in the network’s success is that both sites offer a 30% rakeback when you sign-up through a qualified poker affiliate.

How Does Rakeback Work?

Both Absolute and UB Poker offer their players 30% rakeback. However you cannot get this offer through the sites homepages. You must sign up through a dedicated rakeback affiliate such as ourselves, Rakebackftw.com.

Both sites use the
dealt rakeback method to calculate a player’s rakeback earnings. Here’s how it works: UB or Absolute will take the total rake from each pot you were dealt a hand, and divide this by the total number of players that were also dealt cards in the hand. This number is known as Monthly Gross Revenue (MGR). Your MGR is than multiplied by the percentage of your rakeback deal, in this case .30 (30%), which gives you your rakeback earnings.

The equation looks like this: total rake / number of players dealt into the hand = MGR * .30 = rakeback earnings.

Who Qualifies for Cereus Rakeback

To be eligible to receive rakeback from either Absolute Poker or UB you must meet the following requirements:

   1. You must sign up through Rakebackftw.com
   2. You must be a first-time player
   3. You must open a real money account

In addition to being a first-time player, and making a real money deposit; we have a comprehensive walkthrough, listing all the steps you need to take in order to receive rakeback from UB or Absolute Poker.

UB Deposit Bonus

UB is currently offering a whopping 111% deposit bonus up to a maximum of $1,100! Most players are unaware of this, but you are able to collect rakeback and clear a bonus at the same time on UB, however, a bonus of this magnitude will have many implications for your rakeback deal.

How Rakeback Will Affect Your Deposit Bonus on UB

One of the best things about Cereus rakeback is that you can collect rakeback and clear a bonus at the same time. This will result in a significant increase in the amount you earn!

Here is how it works: UB will deduct any bonus money you have cleared from your rake figure and pay your rakeback on the balance, until you have completed your bonus offer.

    * On UB for every $1 in rake collected you are rewarded with 1 Status Point. And for every 20 Status Points you collect you will clear $1 in bonus money: Which works out to $.05 per Status Point.
    * At the same time you will earn somewhere between $.03 and $.05 (depending on whether you play full ring or 6-max tables) per $1 in rake collected.

The players who will earn the most rakeback on UB while clearing a deposit bonus are players who participate in extremely short-handed or heads-up games. However, without a rakeback deal once you clear your bonus you’ll receive no additional money; where players with a rakeback deal will basically be clearing a bonus for the rest of their poker career on UB!

Absolute Poker Deposit Bonus

Absolute Poker offers a 150% up to $500 deposit bonus, and just like at UB you can sign-up for a rakeback deal and clear a deposit bonus at the same time on Absolute Poker.

Rakeback on Absolute Poker

Absolute poker players will earn Status Points in the same way UB players do. However, the difference between Absolute Poker and UB is in how quickly the Deposit bonus is cleared.

Since the clearance rate of the deposit bonus and the rakeback deal from UB and Absolute Poker is basically the same, Absolute Poker’s bonus offer is much better because they give you 150% compared to UB’s 111%. So even though UB offers a higher maximum, Absolute Poker players will benefit more from the AP bonus offer combined with the 30% rakeback deal.

Visit our
UB rakeback page or our Absolute Poker rakeback page in order to get signed up for rakeback on the Cereus Poker Network.
